Macarons could be considered to be a glamorized cookie I guess but there are some really good ones out there.

They’re also pretty expensive at times but I’m guessing they’re not that easy to make.

For you guys out there, the definition of a macaroon:

are sweet foods made either with coconut and egg white or with a coarse almond paste formed into a dense cookie or confection. They are often confused (due to the very similar spelling) with the French Macarons which are entirely different in appearance.

I believe you mean macaron (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macaron) and not macaroon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macaroon).

Hi, nice post about Nadege, however your address is incorrect, it’s Queen Street West, not East. Right beside Trinity Bellwoods park.

I was just in Paris last weekend and I have to say the pastry array there is quite impressive. I cannot wait to try out this funky new find to see if it really does compare.
