Johnny’s hamburgers has been on the corner of Sheppard and Victoria Park since the beginning of time…well not that long but for at least 30 years for sure.
You won’t be getting any happy meals or “Mc” anything at this burger joint but what you will find are old fashioned BBQ burgers packed with toppings all wrapped in the signature white paper sheets. You can choose to eat inside or check out the patio tables behind the building!
Johnny’s is open ridiculously late so you can stop by any time close to 2am but you may end up waiting in line behind the late night party/clubbing crowd.
Johnny’s Hamburgers is truly one of a kind and should be labled a Toronto institution for feeding hungry stomachs for the past 3 (or 4) decades.

Photo review by Johnny Madden: The first stop was Johnny's Burgers in Scarborough. You don't go to this burger joint for the ambiance, as there ain't even a place to sit and eat. The place was packed, the price reasonable, and the burger was tasty, and filling.

Johnny’s okay. Wimpy size burgers. Golden Star in Thornhill is still the best. Family own for 2 generations. A must try. The best burgers in the GTA.
Johnny’s is great. I’ve been going to Johnny’s for 15 years now. It’s an institution….maybe even be a landmark.
I believe the picture was actually taken a while back. When Johnny’s was just a quick eats location out in the middle of no where. So I agree completely in regards to Johnny’s being a landmark.
I love Johnny Burger! It’s my guilty pleasure. The place is pretty run down and doesn’t look hygenic AT ALL, but the taste of the food is AMAZING (albeit super greasy) and the portions are huge.
Go for the burgers (obviously) and add caramelized onions. The souvlaki and milkshakes are also a must.
