harlem Sequins were the outfit du jour this past long-weekend. Caribana time in Toronto is a celebration not only for the eyes and ears but also for the stomach, as I found out first hand!

Maple Leaf Canada issues another food recall this time with 9 types of wiener products that may contaminated with listeria. On August 3rd the Canadian Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced a warning to the public to not eat any hotdogs that were branded by the Hamilton Maple Leaf plant. This Maple Leaf facility distributes products nationally under different brand names Hygrade, Shopy’s and Maple Leaf.
