KFC’s new “Double Down Chicken Sandwich” leaves out the Bun

KFC Double Down

This is a very interesting new chicken burger from KFC that I thought you guys might get a kick out of.   Apparently, KFC has ventured out far from traditional sandwiches to use chicken fillets instead of buns!   The Colonial has gone utterly insane.

“It’s such a meaty chicken sandwich, there’s no room for a bun” ~ from a KFC spokesperson.

This “Double Down” sandwich is currently being tested in Omaha, Nebraska and Providence Rhode Island.  Early reports are showing the potential damage of this sandwich to be a whopping 1,228 calories!

We’ll see if this sandwich ever makes it across the border and into your neighbourhood KFC.
