Happy Earth Hour!

Earth Hour 2010

The global event celebrated all over the world is organized by the World Wildlife  (WWF) and is held on the last Saturday of March every year.  This event calls for households and businesses to turn off their non essential lights for an hour to raise awareness of the effects of climate change.

Toronto will do it’s’ share tonight from 8:30 to 9:30pm but instead of staying home in the dark the city will celebrate with a huge street party with free concerts and family friendly events.

Yonge and Dundas Square
