Cross Town Kitchens – Stop For Food 2010

Cross Town Kitchens Main

Coming together again for a good cause are some of Toronto’s finest chefs cooking up some of the tastiest dishes with portions of the proceeds going to The Stop Community Food Centre.

Throughout the month of March (1 – 31) participating Cross Town Kitchens restaurants will be preparing their own popular dishes made from home grown Ontario ingredients helping to build awareness and to promote local food producers.

The Cross Town Kitchens effort is promoting food equality for everyone and is fighting for basic needs of individuals by promoting and supporting food banks, community garden initiatives, and community kitchen programs.

“The Stop is about food security and it’s about reaching out to communities and really making sure people are getting fed and bringing good food all.” – Chris Brown – The Stop
