I know you guys check your scales every morning and after every questionable meal thinking to yourself do these numbers really tell the truth? Why does everyone obsess about their weight (especially women).
Everyone associates being healthy and thin to weighing less, well that makes no sense at all and we all know you can’t starve yourself thin so what’s the deal?
The answer is simple, toss your scales in the trash and buy a tape measure. One thing that the tape measure will tell you that your scale won’t is where you’re putting on and keeping the weight (basically where you’re fat).
The belly fat is the prime suspect for most cardiovascular and heart ailments but is among one of the easiest warning signs to detect. If you can’t see your feet you’re in trouble. As a general rule ladies should be at or below 34 inches and men should be 39 inches.
Weight is nothing, being healthy and fit is everything! You can be a healthy heavy individual who is fit and active. There is no way a scale can differentiate between muscle and fat. Muscle is more dense than fat and will weigh more in a tighter body frame.
So do yourself a favor and toss out that bathroom scale!
