Starbucks New “VIA” Coffee

New affordable alternative to brighten up your mornings at Starbucks,  just add hot water to your next “cup of Joe”.  In the latest efforts to bring “luxury coffee” to everyone across North America is Starbucks new campaign to revitalize instant coffee and is inviting everyone to taste the difference.

“There’s a dramatic difference,” Starbucks founder and chief executive officer Howard Schultz said in a telephone interview with Canadian media late last week. “It’s the difference between fresh squeezed orange juice and frozen concentrate.”

I’m a bit skeptical about drinking a $3 dollar cup of coffee and I’m not a huge fan of the taste but I think most people have an affinity to holding a Starbucks branded cup while you walk down the street on the way to work.  Branding a cup of Starbucks coffee in your paw is a bit more trendy than a Timmie’s cup if you know what I mean.

I believe this VIA coffee will be a hit for Starbucks and for everyone wishing to belong to this exclusive group of coffee club.

So here’s what the VIA packs look like.  Nothing what I really expected and they’re a bit more than a dollar, $3.49 for 3 packets of coffee.  I’ll open up a pack and test it out tonight when I get home and let you guys know how it goes.
